But that is not all. Royal huisman also presented a 70m motor yacht Explorer... According to the shipyard, the idea behind the concept is for the two yachts to be built and operated in an "integrated manner." The result is a whole new level of personal choice, freedom and flexibility to enjoy the very best that superyachting has to offer.
To this end, a motor yacht is described as "Companion yacht", not as a satellite yacht. The shipyard assumed that Explorer can for example play the role of a base vessel during regattas in which it is likely to participate Project lotus... It will also act as a service and accommodation center for additional crew and guests, and will also offer additional accommodation for staff including a helicopter pilot, doctor, etc.
The motor yacht, with its "aggressive" and "futuristic" design, will include an owner's cabin and 4 double cabins. At the same time, the crew of the motor yacht will have a staff of 18 people. Also on board is 400 square meters of storage space for tenders, water toys, cars, a helicopter and even a submarine.

In the meantime, the sailing yacht was projected to be 14.6 meters wide, which provides ample space for a spacious deck, complete with pool, flybridge and sun deck. Meanwhile, the high performance sailing system has been designed for ease of handling, reliability and efficiency. Two masts and all sails are completely controlled by buttons.
Environmental achievements Project lotus include solar technology integrated into the masts. Thus, energy is generated throughout the day. The yacht also includes smart energy production, storage and management systems.

The layout of the superyacht includes an owner suite and 8 more cabins for 16 guests, and the yacht's crew consists of 14 people. The yacht's interior has been described as incorporating "the most luxurious materials" with "plush rugs", "exquisite upholstery" and "handcrafted wood". According to Royal huisman, the concept "bridges the gap between sailing experience and life on a motor yacht."
Following the presentation of the project at the Monaco Yacht Show, the shipyard said it received "extremely positive" reviews for the new superyacht.
