Summer in the northern hemisphere has come to an end. For sailors and yachtsmen, this means that the season of boat shows has arrived. The Cannes, Genoa and Southampton Boat Shows will feature dozens of world premiere boats. In addition to Dufour 37, many other interesting boats will be presented. Let's go through the list of prime ministers.
Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60
The newest flagship Beneteau is designed to be reliable and stylish for long-distance sea passages. Separately, Beneteau emphasize the very high standards of interior decoration. The Oceanis Yacht 60 is also the result of a collaboration between Lorenzo Argento and Roberto Biscontini. The yacht is very different from her 62-foot predecessor, which she replaced as a flagship.
In particular, she has a much smaller freeboard, which made it possible to reduce her displacement by as much as five tons. At the same time, the internal volume remained the same. To do this, I had to go for some tricks - the interior rooms are located at slightly different heights relative to each other.
Biscontini drew a hull shape similar to the First 44 and 53, as well as the Oceanis Yachts 54. Distinctive features were the swing above the waterline on the transom and the soft lines of the keel. Thanks to this, it was possible to increase the stability of the boat in strong winds.

GT325
Almost 10 years after GT Yachts launched the GT35. A decade later, the company re-introduced a completely new boat - GT325. The original GT35 was designed by Stephen Jones and built by Windboats in Norfolk. It was an exceptionally powerful, fast and roomy cruiser. Alas, for GT Yachts, the costs and practicalities of outsourced production proved too costly. As a result, only one boat was produced.
The 325 was conceived for coastal cruising. She offers a choice of classic or double keel, steering or tiller and plenty of space inside the voluminous hull.
The cockpit is unusually deep, with high coamings, a small fixed windshield and a transom platform. The platform folds down to create a floating area. When the platform is raised, the cockpit is completely closed. Safety on deck is ensured by imposing bulwarks built into the deck plating.
Despite the focus on safety and comfort, ride quality was also high on the priority list. And, as you might expect, the yacht far exceeds the RCD Class A requirements.
To begin with, the keel(s) are cast in lead and bolted to a molded frame (or frames if you have a twin-keel boat). This is done to ensure the lowest possible center of gravity. The fibers in the hull, filled in the vacuum, pass from one side, descend into the frame(s) and pass to the other side, forming a continuous laminate.
The deck step mast supports an extensive 15/16 meter rig. A self-twisting jib is included as standard. If such a stash is not your format, then you can choose the 115% mainsail. Another option is the mainsail on the mast, which is equipped with the first board.
The master cabin will be located in the bow of the 325th model. The head latrine and shower will be located aft, opposite the galley. It is also possible to install a nasal head bathroom.
The GT325 will make its world debut at the Southampton Boat Show.

Jeanneau 65
This model is a significant upgrade of the already successful Jeanneau 64. Like the Jeanneau 60, this yacht was conceived as a boat that can be configured in many different ways. Each of these methods should, as planned, have “its own character”.
Those who want a more powerful boat can choose a higher rig and a mainsail placed on the cockpit sole. Those looking for safer and easier handling can opt for a mainmast arc, plus a long hard top with an optional central folding hatch.
In all cases, cockpit space is maximized by moving the helms far back. Jeanneau claims that the yacht is equivalent to a multihull in this respect.
Below deck interiors by London-based designer Andrew Winch. As a complete set, you can choose two spacious master cabins with separate bathrooms, three cabins (+ master cabin) in the bow, or four regular cabins. All configuration options have the possibility of an additional single cabin. It can be a dressing room, an extra bed or even an office area. Although the expansive chart table is also designed to be used as a writing desk while cruising.
Jeanneau is also set to introduce a new innovative 55-foot cruising model this winter for the Düsseldorf show in January. Designed by the same Briand/Winch team as the 60 and 65, she will feature a completely different deck and interior layout, with three separate companions.

X43
The Pure X range from X-Yachts has proved extremely popular since the release of the original 43ft and 65ft models in 2016. The line has since been expanded to include five models 38 feet and up. The flagship of the line was the X56 model.
However, the latest model is especially significant as it represents the first second-generation design in the lineup. The new hull shape has a maximum width aft, as well as a wider transom and a spacious cockpit. In the aft part of the hull, there is more span above the waterline, and the keels are located higher, resulting in reduced drag and control complexity. X-Yachts has also improved the deck equipment, in particular the movable mainsail mechanism. Due to this, the new boat has become a little higher.
At the same time, many of the small ergonomic and styling improvements developed for other models in the series, including the X56, have been incorporated into the design. However, the existing owners are clearly happy with the interior of their boats and there are no changes to the layout.
