According to the contract, IGY Marinas will provide a global network of commercial and travel services, and P & o marinas will provide technical and crew support.
The yacht marina will be built in the center of Sete, known as the "Little Venice" of France and is conveniently located near Montpellier, Cote d'Azur and Balearic Islands. It is an official port of entry, fully ISPS compliant, and has an easy access to the city's upscale restaurants and shops. The existing infrastructure of the Sete marina has had an impact on the project as it is 80%. This is a former cruise ship terminal, so it has a strong infrastructure that just needs to be refitted.

Our clients travel a lot around the world, so it is important that our brand continues to respond to the demand for more unique properties and flexible marina options in the world's most popular destinations. As the market leader in superyacht marinas, we look forward to offering the unique IGY platform on a global basis. We are delighted to begin the first phase of our expansion in Europe, from the south of France. "
The idea is to expand this partnership to other European countries in the future, throughout the Mediterranean.

Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulei, chairman and chief executive officer DP World, said: "P & o marinas will draw on many years of experience in this sector, accumulated on six continents, which increases the value of the new project. Through partnership with IGY Marinas we will also be able to combine the skills of both companies to ensure the best possible service for superyacht owners. "
New Marina IGY Sete will also become a new popular destination for charter companies as well as for long-term crew stops.

“Most yacht owners are looking at marinas in the Mediterranean based on what they have to offer to a retail client, but we have abandoned this approach because this is not our business model at all. Our business model is to offer flexibility, reliability and consistency, to allow owners to travel around the world without restriction, and without the need to deposit 15 million euros into a single regulatory jurisdiction, ”added the CEO IGY Marinas.
