Sailing catamaran Fountaine Pajot Thira 80
The Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 sailing catamaran is a luxury catamaran designed for pleasure.
Fountaine Pajot continues to experiment. The new Thira 80 catamaran is a development of ideas: the largest catamaran in the line, a true flagship of the entire Fountaine Pajot fleet. Some compare the Thira 80 to superyachts - and although this catamaran is slightly smaller than the average superyacht - the Thira 80 is not inferior to them in luxury.
Thoughtful deck layout
The catamaran has two full-fledged cockpits. One is located at the stern, and the other at the bow between the floats. Both cockpits have a direct entrance to the saloon, which simplifies movement around the catamaran. The forward cockpit has everything you need for outdoor recreation - even a small pool. Comfortable sofas will allow you to enjoy sunbathing or chat with friends. The rear cockpit has direct access to the water using practical stairs that lead to the stern platform.
Both floats have hidden, built-in lockers on the deck. For example, you can store water toys or marine equipment in them. Despite its dimensions, the Thira 80 makes reasonable use of the available volumes of the hulls, which will allow you to take all the necessary things with you.
New control post
Fountaine Pajot decided to try a new concept for themselves: twin steering wheels with all the necessary navigation equipment are now located on the flybridge, next to the mast. The winches for sail control are very close - right between the steering wheels, which will provide full control over the control and the situation.
The roof of the wheelhouse and flybridge are also equipped with solar panels to increase the autonomy of your cruises.
Large and functional flybridge
A flybridge of this size is impossible to find on another similar yacht – in addition to comfortable sofas and tables, the helm station is also located here. Due to its dimensions, the Thira 80 flybridge is a full-fledged area for relaxation and communication. Rigid railings and handrails are installed for even greater safety of each crew member and guest on board.
Designer interior
Designers from Berret-Racoupeau Design and Fountaine Pajot were able to create a unique interior. On the one hand, this is a classic multihull interior with characteristic features: a lot of free space and lockers. On the other hand, the interior of the Thira 80 looks like the rest of the catamaran - thought out to the smallest detail, functional and ergonomic. At the same time, the interior has a characteristic "Fontaine" design, for which we love the catamarans of this shipyard so much. The saloon is equipped with large sliding windows, thanks to which there is no shortage of natural light. The Thira 80 has a separate chart table with leather trim.
