After the successful launch of the first F-class yacht called Firefly in 2011, the Dutch shipyard Claasen Shipyards was able to conclude a contract for the construction of the 72-foot sailing yacht Berret Racoupeau (launched in summer 2013). And most recently - for the construction of the 60-foot yacht Dykstra Pilot Cutter (launched in June 2013).

One of the current projects of the shipyard is a new classic 126ft Hoek, designed to combine high technology and a passion for sea travel. Yacht HoekDesigned for racing, it is made entirely of aluminum, which provides it with excellent strength and light weight at the same time.
It will be classified and equipped according to the requirements MCA LY2... The yacht is ready for private use or charter. Hoek will have a traditional classic body with clean, flowing lines and long overhangs. The towering carbon rig includes a set of essentials and is ideal for modern sailing yachts.
The deck plan is based on the already justified concept with a private master cockpit aft and a guest cockpit and deckhouse in the center. This guest area provides a pleasant pastime and meal, both indoors and outdoors.
The main saloon is located aft across the entire width of the engine room and across the entire width of the master cabin, which houses a king-size bed with comfortable seating on either side. All guest areas are equipped with special porthole doors to provide natural light.
Ahead of the engine room are two spacious guest cabins, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The area in front of the mast is for 5 crew members. There is a spacious galley and crew saloon, a laundry room and three cabins. Completion of construction of the yacht is scheduled for April 2015.
