eSail Sailing Simulator teaches all the principles of sailing a 36ft sailing yacht, from fordewind to yacht mooring, and allows the user to explore the sea and race.

eSail Sailing Simulator
New simulator eSail was officially presented on October 5 at an interactive presentation in Royal South Yacht Club in Hamble-le-Rice, England. Her creator Chris Baldwin, who has experience in software development, marketing and satellite imagery, spent three and a half years developing a program for PC and Apple Mac with yachtsmen of all skill levels, not just beginners.
The eSail simulator teaches all the basics of yacht managementincluding absolutely everything sailing, raising the sails, changing course, reefing, anchoring and mooring, while the more experienced yachtsman can use an abbreviated guide to dive right into the process.

Hone your yacht steering skills with the new simulator software

Chris Baldwin developed eSail Sailing Simulator in order to bridge the gap between theory and practical learning, allowing users to learn, albeit virtually, but still more practically than in theory.
The simulator includes 20 tutorials including a complete sailing yacht management training course - "Learn Yachting with eSail"; honing skills such as reefing, mooring, charting and anchoring, which are presented along with more in-depth sailing tutorials; races, treasure hunts and challenging tasks at the helm, for the best practice of the acquired skills and a share of extreme. Challenges also include river channel sailing, collision avoidance exercises, planning ocean crossings, and more.

V eSail Sailing Simulator there is also a mode "Live Sailing"in which users are exposed to constant changes in weather and yachting conditions during a long cruise. In this mode, the user's position is always saved, so that virtual travels can continue for weeks or even years, simulating an almost round-the-world trip.
eSail Sailing Simulator available on the platform Steam at an early access price of £ 14.99.
