Volvo Ocean Race is back and more immersive than ever, offering a unique virtual racing experience. The new version of the game, which launched on October 8, now features ocean and harbor races just like the real Volvo Ocean Race.

Volvo Ocean Race and Virtual Regatta launch a new racing game
Volvo Ocean Race Is the toughest test in sailing - 45,000 nautical miles of strength, professionalism and toughness of character. This is a round-the-world race of the crews who operate 65-foot yachts, designed to sail 500 nautical miles per day at a maximum speed of over 30 knots.
The 2017-18 race has 11 port stops en route between stages, which include in-port races. For the first time, the players of the official game have the opportunity to test their skills in new version of the gamewhich now includes port races.

In the latest version Volvo Ocean Race Gamereleased in 2014, over 200,000 skippers put their skills to the test by battling virtually against a real fleet in a round-the-world race Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15.
Due to the popularity of the game, this year Volvo Ocean Race teamed up with Virtual regatta, a world leader with over 1 million players a year, to provide an even more realistic way to challenge the world's best sailors.
As a player, you will experience all the realities of the race, your boat will go 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, to each next stage, just like in a real race Volvo Ocean Race 2017-18... The first test stage for crews and for virtual riders kicked off on Sunday 8 October and is expected to take up to four days. Moreover, Volvo Ocean Race and Virtual Regatta agreed that all income received from it will be transferred to the organization "Clean seas"part of the environment program The United Nations.
The game is available on all online platforms, including mobile apps for iOS and Android. The real tests are still ahead - the first stage of the race starts on October 22!
