The new yacht has a distinctive bow with a reverse angle of inclination. The maximum width of the hull is at the stern. The yacht has double rudders, a full-fledged lifting keel and a powerful power plant. There will be a Williams 395 tender in the aft bulk compartment.
According to the shipyard, the boat will be an easy yacht to handle. In the basic configuration of the yacht there will be a self-tipping staysail. For the sake of truth, the final decision on what kind of sailing equipment will be on the boat has not yet been made.
The only thing they talk about clearly and confidently is the twisting of the mainsail into the mast. This system will definitely be on the Baltic 80. Of the interesting things on the deck are the streamlined cockpit and wheelhouse lines, as well as a folding body kit and a bimini to protect the cockpit.
Baltic 80 is able to accommodate six guests in three double cabins. There is a separate master cabin. The yacht will be built using advanced composite materials. Also, when creating the body, SPRINT prepreg and foam will be used.
We will find out more details after the METSTRADE exhibition, where full-fledged concepts and renderings will be presented. Construction is due to start in January 2023, with launch scheduled for summer 2024.
