The Occitania Region has announced the terms of the Avenir Littoral project competition. 2 million euros will be invested by this organization with the support of Pôle Mer Méditerranée in a blue economy company, including water sports.
Avenir Littoral, new step v plan Littoral 21
The state and region of Occitania (France) have been working together for several years to support innovation in the blue economy.

On this occasion, the terms of the third Avenir Littoral project competition were announced, aimed at supporting the development of original solutions for the maritime sector of the region's economy.

The budget of the event is 2 million euros. The technical part is provided by Pôle Mer Méditerranée.
Improving the environmental impact of boating
The project competition is aimed at French or European companies established in Occitania or wishing to establish themselves there.
The 2021 Avenir Littoral competition focuses on 3 themes:
• recycling and disposal of marine waste: solutions for the disposal of materials and solutions for their reuse from the point of view of a closed-loop economy,

• quantitative and qualitative management of water resources in relation to marine and recreational activities in ports, as well as to the design and maintenance of ships,
• sustainable coastal tourism: solutions for self-sufficient zero impact tourism infrastructure, facilities and services on the coast.
