The keen eye of the yachtsman spectator will definitely catch on the familiar shape while watching the new film about the famous agent.
And it is no coincidence that the familiar Spirit 46 will appear in the frame more than once! How and why will the boat "light up" in the new film? The answer is quite simple, but the background is no less interesting from this.
Spirit and the "007" franchise
Spirit Yachts has announced partnerships with EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM) and Universal Pictures International. That is, with the giants of the film industry.
The partnership provides for product placement - unobtrusive advertising right in the frame. Spirit 46 has been advertised. The boat will appear in the upcoming film No Time to Die in UK theaters from 30 September and in the US from 8 October 2021.
In fact, Spirit Yachts' partnership with James Bond films began quite a long time ago. In the yard was already distant 2006 and just another tape from the franchise about Agent 007 - "Casino Royale", was released.
It was there that an interesting scene could be seen. James Bond and Vesper Lind cruise Venice aboard the equally famous Spirit 54. So this Spirit Yachts collaboration is nothing new.
The forthcoming Bond film will feature the Spirit 46. This yacht is one of the classic British yachts.
Another example of yachts appearing on screens
This is not the first time that boats have featured in major Hollywood blockbusters with varying degrees of success.
There are several other examples as well. More recently, Christopher Nolan's new film, Argument, was released. This film was distinguished by a complex narration, beautiful pictures and intense action. Guess who became one of the "star guests" of the film?
The well-known F50! By the way, the film "In the Power of the Elements", which is based on the book "Red Skies in Mourning", tells about sailing in a Pacific hurricane.
There was the destruction of a boat and a solo sailing trip to Hawaii for 41 days. A rich picture.
We remind fans and connoisseurs of "Bond" - "No Time to Die" will be released in theaters on October 8, 2021.
