At the moment, negotiations are underway to build the largest composite sailing yacht in the world. Former South African Yachtsman of the Year and Yacht Designer Shaun Carkeek has unveiled his latest concept for the C300, which is 91m in length.

As a result two-masted model will be equipped with electric mainsail booms. The propulsion system has yet to be approved, but a cruising speed of up to 20 knots using the engine is planned, and the ability to reach speeds in excess of 35 knots under sail.
Main functions on board the C300 includes a tender boathouse on the aft deck, several folding terraces and a saloon on the upper deck. The capacity on board is up to eight guests, plus 15 crew members.
