On the eve of the world premiere of the new yacht HR 340, the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy has presented pictures of the long-awaited model. The new Hallberg-Rassy 340, replacing the earlier 342, promises to be faster, lighter, more comfortable to fly, and even with an increase in size and a number of modifications, the price of the boat remains unchanged.

This will be the first yacht from Hallberg-Rassy with two steering wheels. 34-foot HR 340 It is distinguished by its long waterline and rounded hull. A nose with a straight vertical stem, as well as a built-in bowsprit, which, according to Hallberg-Rassy, ideal for a bow ladder and also equipped with a tiller as standard. The anchor holder is at a safe distance from the hull and is controlled by an additional electric windlass, and is the ideal place to attach an asymmetric spinnaker or gennaker.
As well as Hallberg-Rassy 44, HR 340 equipped with double rudders, each rudder has a double self-aligning stock bearing, which provides easier control in difficult weather conditions and also reduces stress.

Deck space maximum freed: The forearm roller is below deck, deck hatches are hidden, and the halyards run through hidden channels back to the cockpit. Each coaming has two winches and it is possible to install an electric winch. Also installed below deck Furlex td for twisting sails. The main shrouds are separated by separate cables, providing easy deck passage and space for a comfortable headsail attachment.
The deep cockpit provides good protection in any weather. The galley is equipped with a large refrigerator, double sinks and hard stone surfaces. Countersunk cabinet doors with integrated end caps to avoid damage. The double cabin in the bow is equipped with many lockers, a large deck hatch, and a 2x2m berth. The aft cabin is also double and very spacious.

For the first time with this boat size, Hallberg-Rassy offers the option to order an additional large foldable floating platform and the standard version has a fixed platform aft. The holding tank can be emptied through the deck suction fitting, which is supplied as standard.
