It is still quite a long time before the results are held, but the yachts have already been nominated and are waiting for the vote of spectators and judges - we will arrange a small review of each of them!
We continue to review the nominations for the best yacht of 2022! Today we'll talk about boats that will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. These yachts are the embodiment of power, beauty and speed, as well as the genius of engineering. Meet the nominees!
MOODY DS 41
Moody DS 41 is the latest development from Moody's DS. It is in it that the concept of “living on the same level” is realized - all rooms and compartments of the yacht are on the same level. This will unite all the elements of the boat into a single living space, and also provide an opportunity for the rational use of space.

Ahead, a high freeboard and equally high bulwarks provide maximum safety. It doesn't matter if it's checking the anchor or catching rays on the large resting area at the bow.

Well positioned tandem rudders provide good visibility. On the other hand, rigging the boat will make sailing with a small crew much easier.

DS41 can be equipped with an additional heater or air conditioner.
HYLAS 57
The H57 is impressively long. The yacht was deliberately designed by experienced designer Bill Dixon to be easily steered by a couple. All sail controls lead to the cockpit and wheelhouse. So they are within the reach of two steering wheels.
The mainsail, genoa and self-adjusting staysail boats are equipped with a standard mechanical twist. This, by the way, in combination with the H57 electric winches makes balancing the sail easy.

An optional hard roof provides cover in the cockpit without disturbing the boat's graceful lines. A three-cabin interior is standard. But Hylas is ready to adapt their layouts to the specific tastes of each owner. A choice of keel with standard or shallow draft is available.
GRAND SOLEIL 44 Performance
The Grand Soleil 44 Performance is designed by European ORC connoisseur Matteo Polli. The boat, by the way, promises to be as impressive on the race track as it is beautiful.

The Model 44 officially completes the Performance line, which now includes boats ranging from 34 to 58 feet. Like its predecessors, the Grand Soleil 44 Performance is available in two very different trim levels.

The first is a streamlined racing version. And the second is a more chic setting for those who prefer fast cruises. Race deck and cruise deck configurations are available, as well as multiple keel options.
An aluminum mast is standard on the cruising version of the boat, on the other hand, a carbon mast with a higher draft can be chosen by riders.
