New elegant, eco-friendly, stylish and powerful boat Baltic Café Racer - what did Baltic Yachts present and how does this yacht compare favorably with its competitors?
Let's take a look at the recently released Baltic Café Racer! Innovation and tradition in one bottle. In addition, the creators have added several new technologies that distinguish this yacht from the competition.
Baltic Café Racer - design is everything
Baltic Yachts has built some of the world's most iconic yachts over the past five years. These include a 142-foot Canova equipped with DSS films, a 175-foot Pink Gin, and a 130-foot My Song.
The latest creation of the Finnish shipyard, Baltic Café Racer, is a 68-foot yacht. She is just as impressive as her “sisters”.

The yacht embodies cutting edge design. And it is quite futuristic due to the use of environmentally friendly solutions in everything.
The Baltic Café Racer concept is based on a very clear vision: the name comes from motorcycles originally from London in the 1960s.
These bikes have been optimized for one thing: moving their riders from one venue to another impressively quickly.
The result is a design that stands out in many ways and stands out in an increasingly crowded market.
Power, form and speed
Baltic employed Javier Jodenes from Mallorca as an architect for this project.
“This design provides the best performance in an average wind of about 12-14 knots,” he says.

The hull shape minimizes wetted surface at low bank angles, with rounded sections and a relatively low waterline at the stern. However, it quickly gains form stability when the boat heels.
Ecology
Great efforts have been made to minimize the environmental impact of this boat. Approximately 50% Structural Fibers are made from linen. Additional power is provided by twin 15 kW Oceanvolt motors.

The creators covered the ultra-smooth roof with solar panels. These batteries are designed in a deck style to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the boat.
The flax fiber used in construction has helped improve insulation. This will, however, help reduce the energy consumption of the 30% air conditioning system. As a result, the battery has enough charge to keep the air conditioner running all night in economy mode.
Layout and specifications of Baltic Café Racer
The Baltic has reasonably kept the weight at the ends of the hull. However, there is an impressive volume below deck. By the way, it is sufficient for staying on board for several nights with great comfort.

The layout focused on a spacious saloon as well as spacious and well-equipped cabins. There is also a toilet, a small double cabin for guests (or crew) and a decent galley.

The boat was launched in May 2021. The first Baltic Café Racer passed its first sea trials in August 2021.
