Outremer 4X designed for long cruises and full onboard living, but the X prefix indicates that it has been optimized for more efficient performance. Often this brand is given the title - "sports", but this is absolutely not the case. The class of these yachts can be called Fast family cruiser.

The key to designing a cruising yacht for long-distance cruising is the right balance between speed, handling and safety. It is not only performance that matters, but also smoothness.

Outremer 4X is able to reach speeds of up to 6.5 knots with one of its 30 hp engines running at 2 thousand revolutions, limiting noise on one side of the boat and reducing fuel consumption. At 15 or 20 knots under sail, you can control it perfectly with the tiller in addition to the helm.

In the bow of each hull there are huge forepeaks for equipment, equipped with ladders. All structural parts are laminated and the 4X is equipped with vacuum carbon reinforced baffles by default.

Master cabin on the starboard side, it is impressive in size and amount of light, it is equipped with a large side porthole with panoramic views, a deck hatch and a spacious bathroom. The dining area in the salon is designed for 6 guests, the kitchen is economically equipped with storage space.

For some, the disadvantage may be that, in order to ensure good speed, the catamaran had to be as light as possible, therefore the interior and decoration are made in minimalism. But the quality of the materials used is up to the mark. Narrow hulls and waterline width are much less than in a charter catamaran. Outremer 4X also differs in its height, since the dimensions of the freeboard and bridge deck are necessary for viewing.

Other drawbacks are lead times and high prices, although these catamarans usually achieve high resale value. Alternatives Outremer, not at the moment.
