SPRY - Waterproof Yacht Drone Captures Stunning 4K Videos

Swellpro, a Chinese startup company based in Shenzhen, has developed and released a waterproof drone that can fly, swim, dive after you into the water, while capturing stunning 4K video.

Swellpro SPRY designed specifically for the harsh marine environment. It features a streamlined design to reduce drag and turbulence, and specially coated motors.

The device is designed to be first and foremost waterproof and buoyant... The drone has a hatch that ventilates the hull, preventing water from entering. The shell design also prevents water from entering the "skin" of the drone from entering the fuselage when the cover is open. Meanwhile, a series of aluminum heatsinks provide cooling SPRY by dissipating heat from the outside of the sealed frame.

The SPRY flies smoothly through the air before landing on the water, maneuvering on the surface like a boat. High-thrust motors and powerful electronic stability control systems increase the drone's speed limit to 70 km / h in manual mode.

The camera uses a Sony 1 / 2.3-inch CMOS sensor in combination with a lens that minimizes fisheye distortion for natural looking images. 4K video is recorded at 30fps and a maximum speed of 64Mbps, with the ability to capture 12MP stills.

The display screen on the waterproof remote control locks onto the target of the drone and does not return to the launch site like other drones, but to your boat. When you are not in control of it, SPRY itself recognizes objects and can follow you in a circle or revolve around you.
