Many new models were presented at the recent Monaco Yacht Show. Among them were the Swan yachts, specifically - model 98. Let's take a closer look at the boat!
We recently reviewed Swan 120 - a close relative of today's guest. The 98th is one of those yachts whose development is interesting to follow. So, the booth of Nautor's Swan, a yacht manufacturer, was no less interesting.
Briefly about the show
The pandemic, it seems, did not slow down the development of Nautor's Swan: at the yacht show in Monaco, she presented two new superyachts - 98 and 120 models.
This despite the fact that Skorpios, the ClubSwan 125 racing boat, the first Swan Shadow motor boat and the 58th cruising yacht have already been launched this year. In simple words, Nautor's Swan did their best.
Swan 98
The new yachts 98 and 120 are the latest in a new generation of cruisers designed by Hermann Frers. These are powerful yachts with double rudders and excellent stability. The company decided to produce them in a style that has already gained popularity over the past three years with the 65 and 78 models.
The Swan 98 has an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The hull is well equipped and the cockpit is protected by coamings. The same coamings perfectly underline the elegant forms of the boat.
By the way, both 98 and 120 come in the Racing version. Striking features of this version are the increased mainsail in the upper part, the adjustable backstay and the extended bowsprit.
What's inside the Swan 98?
There are two options for the interior layout: the master cabin can be in the aft or in the bow of the hull.
Designed by Italian architect Misa Poggi. 98 is another sleek high performance model with a lot of South American and Italian design flair. She comes in many different styles and layouts to help owners personalize the yacht.
In addition, the yacht has three guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms and two double crew cabins, with the galley located next to the crew cabins in both layouts. By the way, the yacht has a large supply of fuel. The engine room in the entire width of the yacht was installed by the creators under the salon.
