Over the years, the Nemo brand has built an international reputation for the quality and reliability of its products. At a recent exhibition, Nemo made a splash with its new product: the ultra-thin and stylish Vistamare porthole.

Vistamare Portholes

At the recent Genoa International Yacht Show, Nemo presented the new Vistamare portholes. What impressed visitors and organizers of the boat show most was the design of the device – because in the case of Vistamare, aesthetics is elevated to the absolute.

At first glance, it may seem that Vistamare is not a real porthole, but some kind of toy. There are no holes for screws, the frame is made of flat and very thin metal. However, this is where the magic of Vistamare lies, as it is not just a porthole, but a full-fledged work of art.

Engineers and designers have made efforts to ensure that the screws are not visible from the outside. This solution allows Vistamare to look stylish and neat. The porthole profile has a nice streamlined shape, and the comfortable handles fit perfectly into the overall "ensemble".

Vistamare technical features and options

Vistamare portholes are equipped with adjustable tension hinges, thanks to which you can adjust the smoothness of opening and movement to suit you. The hinge that holds the frame with glass is additionally protected from impacts and corrosion, which should increase the potential service life.

Vistamare is available in three standard sizes: 150mm, 200mm and 250mm. However, according to the press release, custom portholes of any size are available. According to Nemo, the new Vistamare line will fit sailing and motor yachts from 10 to 30 meters in length. 

Additionally, it is possible to manufacture portholes of rectangular, elliptical or oval shape. The Vistamare mounting type is also individual. Nemo can install the porthole using classic mounting on the hull or using super-strong glue with a special composition. For lovers of hi-tech solutions on the boat, Vistamare portholes can be integrated into the security system using sensors. All these options are offered directly by the manufacturer.
