The development of the innovative sailing superyacht project took several months. The main idea was the customer's desire to have a 360-degree view from the cockpit, which means there is no flybridge and absolutely clean deck lines, without obstacles from stern to bow.
MM78 will be fully equipped with automated sail control systems that guarantee minimal contact with the person carrying the sails, the square head mainsail and the lifting keel to be able to approach the shoreline as much as possible.
The layout includes 5 cabins including a master cabin and provides accommodation for a crew of 14 people. One of the design features of the MM78 is the owner's aft stateroom, or rather an apartment, which includes its own saloon and 150 m² dining area. The cabin offers direct access to an extensive aft bathing platform and, thanks to the folding bulwarks, provides a total of 100 m² of outdoor seating space.

In the main saloon and in the master cabin, the hull portholes are designed from floor to ceiling to fully enjoy the natural scenery, while a sunroof illuminates the interior with natural light for an even more comfortable stay. Full-size portholes and a glass aft bulkhead provide an impressive panoramic view and a sense of merging with the sea.
MM78 is designed for complete living on cruises, therefore, there is also a 7.5 m swimming pool, spa and gym on board. The secret bow deck has opening sections that either fold down or drop down to reveal a fully protected cockpit of 30 m².

“This is a fundamentally new concept and we are delighted that we had the opportunity to develop this project for a client. The development process has gone through several evolutionary stages, and now that the final design has been approved, we are pleased to share the news about this project. " - Malcolm McKeon
