Your boats can now be protected from salt water and UV rays with HydroSilex spray ceramic protection
HydroSilex specializes in sprayable ceramic protective products and has already established itself well in the automotive market.
Sprayable ceramic boat protection
The new development of this brand will delight professional sailors and yachtsmen. It is a spray-on ceramic protection against the harmful effects of the marine environment and UV rays, very easy to use.
In an effort to conquer the marine market, HydroSilex has created a product that can be used by all types of marine vehicles - yachts, jet skis, inflatable boats of varying degrees of rigidity, as well as other watercraft.
This ceramic protection is adapted to all surfaces of the boat: glass, chrome-plated, semi-rigid or bubble-gel, more porous than automotive surfaces.
“It is hydrophobic, which prevents water stagnation, as well as UV protection and excellent surface gloss,” explains HydroSilex's French market representative Theo Van Lifde.
Ease of application and durability
The protection is very simple to apply - it needs to be sprayed onto the surface and then wiped with a microfiber cloth.
“With this method of application, the product is well distributed over the surface, and the risk of drying drops is reduced to zero. There are much fewer restrictions on its use than conventional ceramic protection. It is not necessary to spray it under a canopy; it can be done outdoors.
Boaters may apply this protection to the most exposed surfaces as needed. This will save them a lot of time, ”adds Theo Van Lifde.
The product is packaged in containers of various sizes for the convenience of consumers. 1 liter containers - for yachtsmen (1 liter will be enough to process the outer surface of a 7m boat). There is also packaging in 5L and 20L containers for other professionals.
“The lifespan of the product will depend on the initial condition of the surface to be treated and will range from 6 to 12 months.
The company also offers a low-ceramic shampoo to extend the time between applications. It is more durable than wax and is completely environmentally friendly, ”says Theo Van Lifde.
Introduction to the world of water sports
HydroSilex entered the French market in 2018 in the automotive sector.
Today the company is actively developing its maritime activities, for which it builds its dealer network.
“HydroSilex Marine products are a real time saver for professionals in applying protective products,” concludes Theo Van Lifde.
