The Dufour Yachts shipyard is famous for making truly versatile yachts for both family people who love leisurely cruises and avid sailing enthusiasts. 

The classic attributes of Dufour yachts are embodied in the Dufour 530 model: the elegant lines of the hull will appeal to even the most discerning aesthetes, the performance is appreciated by many yachtsmen and reviewers, and the impressive internal volumes still amaze the imagination.

Don't worry, there is plenty of space on board for the whole family and even your friends! There are several layout options - up to six cabins (plus the skipper's cabin). 

The master cabin, as on most Dufour yachts, is located in the bow. Two aft cabins are also available. At the heart of the yacht is the salon with an L-shaped sofa to starboard and a U-shaped dinette to port.

Dufour 530 for everyone

Among other things, Dufour Yachts has ensured that the Dufour 530 is the ideal boat for every client. There are three versions of the yacht available for yachtsmen of any level. 

So, the Easy version is designed for those who are looking for the perfect cruiser for leisurely cruising. The sail control system in this version is quite simple - a German system for the mainsail and an automatic jib. But don’t be fooled by the word “easy” in the title! On this version you can also sell without any restrictions.

The second version – Ocean – was designed with lovers of more classic yachting in mind. In addition, this version was created optimal for long transitions. On the Ocean version, the boom wiring is classic. Winches for sail control are installed on the roof of the deckhouse and the cockpit coaming.

The Performance version is suitable for real sea wolves, who are frequent guests of regattas. This version has a taller mast (including an additional set of spreaders), no table in the cockpit, and a longer keel (2.8 m).

Other features of Dufour 530

Common to all three versions of the yacht is an enclosed cockpit, a deck without much equipment, and a transom folding swim platform. In addition, the cockpit is additionally protected by a bimini.

For a pleasant pastime, the cockpit has a refrigerator and grill. For sunbathing lovers, you can install full-fledged sun loungers at the stern - between the steering posts.

Indeed, some publications highlight the weight of the Dufour 530 as one of its main disadvantages. One could agree with this, if not for one “but”: the Dufour 530 has a reinforced body, which provides greater stability and reliability. The Dufour Yachts shipyard knows how to make truly safe boats. 

Other features include a choice of Yanmar or Volvo Penta diesel engine. The owner will also be able to choose between saildrive (it is possible to install an engine up to 75 hp) or direct shaft (110 hp). A bow thruster is available. Optionally, the steering wheel can be placed in the stern.
