SNSM diplomas are recognized at the professional level
More recently, French Minister Annique Girardin issued a decree on new provisions for the training of rescuers. This new regulation confirms the recognition of the qualifications of rescuers as professional certificates.
SNSM volunteers will be able to use their qualifications for the maritime sector as real professional skills.

Kent Marine takes over the distribution of Kicker Audio Marine
French equipment distributor Kent Marine has been appointed by Celsus UK to distribute Kicker Audio products in France. It will sell speakers and audio products to its customers.

This means that Kent Marine customers will receive exclusive deals. Kicker Audio speakers and audio systems can be installed in the cabin and enjoy unrivaled sound quality.
All Purpose will receive funding for the production of linen sails
The sail manufacturer All Purpose, affiliated with CLM, Kaïros and the Research Institute Dupuis de Lom of the University of South Brittany, won the CORIMER competition. This competition is to support innovative solutions that are proposed by participants.

Government funding will support research into recyclable and biodegradable materials for yachts, ocean racing and transport sails, following experiments already done with linen sails.
Port Vauban is certified as an “Eco-friendly Port”
The Port of Vauban in Antibes has just been certified for Sustainable Biodiversity Ports. And this is in addition to the European Clean Ports certificate obtained back in 2014. This is the first port on the CCI Nice Cote d'Azur network to receive this certificate.
VogAboutMe changes its name
The historic navigation site VogAvoutMe, created in 2010, has been renamed Vog. It intends to be more in line with the recently launched training and rental offerings of catamarans by VogWeek and VogFleet, respectively.
