This year the exhibitions were more lively than in 2020. The restrictions are partially removed and it becomes much easier to get to the events. Events from the world of superyachts are also making a comeback.
The Superyacht Summit, one of the largest yachting events in the world, is about to begin. The forum was founded not so long ago, but it already presents many interesting surprises.
Superyacht Summit founded
The Superyacht Summit is being held for the third time this year. The forum will take place on December 8 and 9 at the Queen Elizabeth II hotel in Dubai.
The International Superyacht Summit has just been launched. It opened its doors in 2018 under the patronage of P&O Marinas. The initiator and one of the organizers of the forum was Fabulous Yachts.
Moreover, the main focus of the forum is the development of the UAE as one of the main winter destinations for yachting. This year, the organizers decided to expand their sphere of influence.
That the coming year?
In the past, topics have focused on the development of the UAE as a preferred winter destination. However, this year's summit will feature two new themes.
The first topic is the impact of the construction of marinas for yachts and superyachts. Their impact on the development of the tourism industry and the new yachting market will also be considered. The second theme is meeting the needs of the younger generation of yachtsmen.
Important people for the industry will make presentations. Among them are Feadship Marketing Director Farouk Nefzi, Lürssen Sales Director Alberto Perrone, Gulf Craft Deputy Managing Director Abir Alshaali, Francesca Muzio of FM Architettura and Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO.
Plans of Western companies
Camper & Nicholsons CEO Paolo Kazani will join this powerful meeting. He will take part in a panel discussion on several topics. The main theme is “What does the region need to create the ideal superyacht destination?”.
“Dubai and the Persian Gulf have been on the radar for Camper & Nicholsons for a long time,” says Paolo. “We have enough large yachts available to use. By the way, these superyachts do not like simple ones. The main thing is a significant increase in the clientele from this region. In fact, this is very valuable and important for our company.
As a result, the combination of all these factors makes our plans of action in Dubai a natural step, demonstrating our serious interest and respect for such an important and culturally rich part of the world. "
