Fountaine-Pajot never ceases to amaze! Following the success at La Grande Mothe, the shipyard has unveiled a new development plan, the Odysséa 24. Let's try to understand the essence of this grandiose idea.
New plan
Fountaine-Pajot enters an environmental transition with the Odysséa 24 industrial plan. Part of this plan was the catamaran MY4.S. Odysséa 24 is an ambitious project that brings together employees, yachting stakeholders and industry experts to take part in the development of a cleaner yachting experience. The main goal of the plan is to create motor boats that do not create any pollution at all.
The plan was presented at the last in April in La Grande Motte. Fountaine-Pajot to be "a pioneer in the environmental transformation of the maritime industry". To achieve this goal, “the shipyard relies on the collective awareness of the problem and the participation of all stakeholders: owners, employees, suppliers, as well as experts in the field of energy transition or research and development. Together we will strive to build low-carbon, and ideally zero-emission, ships by 2030.”
ODsea Lab platform
Part of the Odysséa 24 project is the innovative platform ODsea Lab (abbreviation for Observe, Design & Save). It is a collaborative platform that acts to accelerate technology solutions for transforming manufacturing processes and material selection.
The site is also expected to be used for innovations using renewable energy sources, energy storage and motor electrification. The ODSea Lab innovation platform works around three main areas of development: the boat of tomorrow, eco-yachting and industrialization.
Fountaine-Pajot MY4.S
Most likely, "Odysséa 24" could not be realized without the success of MY4.S in the market. What's more, the MY4.S won the "Best Power Catamaran 2022" award at the last International Multihull Show.
The latest addition to the Fountaine-Pajot line of motor yachts has received the absolute majority of votes, captivating the public with its elegant, sophisticated lines and innovative sports hard top.
MY4.S is created according to any customer requirements. Basic versions - with 3 or 4 double cabins in Quartet or Maestro versions. The owner's cabin occupies the entire length of the port hull and has huge windows at bed level.
In addition to the MY4.S, Fountaine Pajot also presented the new Aura 51 catamaran at the Multihull Boat Show. However, the official presentation of the Aura 51 will take place only at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
