The recently announced project has already become a reality and many yachtsmen are in a hurry to try out the new product at the famous Egyptian resort.
Apart from white beaches and luxury hotels, the Marassi resort attracts the attention of not only ordinary citizens. The project to create an artificial harbor has come to an end and is already open to everyone. Marina is ready for guests!
A bit of the history of the resort
The project of the Marassi resort involved equipping a new artificial inner harbor with a whole set of berths. 23 separate docks can accommodate up to 228 pleasure craft up to 45 m (148 ft) in length. Moreover, all of them will have fully serviced berths.

Meanwhile, Walcon Marine Australia, in charge of the operations, has also installed a fully operational service dock. It is used to supply fuel and water and remove airborne liquid waste.

Most importantly, to date, all marina components for D, K, L and U docks have been delivered, installed and are now operational, and the rest are currently being manufactured in Australia and will be shipped shortly.
The first international marina on the north coast of Egypt
In addition, the opening was entrusted to the Egyptian developer Emaar Misr literally this week. The first international (yacht) port on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt is the Marassi Marina and Yacht Club.
“We are proud to open the first international marina on the north coast of Egypt. It will put the world of the north coast on the yacht tourism map of everything, ”says Mohamed Alabbar, Managing Director of Emaar Properties.

Marassi is a large complex located about two hours from Alexandria and covers an area of over 6.5 million square meters. It includes as many as five large beaches. 23 residential villages and 3300 hotel rooms are available for accommodation. Entertainment will be provided by an 18-hole golf course and an international marina with 228 berths.
