Kawil was in the lead from the very beginning. Despite the assumptions by the audience that she crossed the mark, the crew showed excellent work with the turns. Her rivals were on their heels, but they could not prevent them from taking the Cup.

Although this time Adele did not get the winner's prize, she felt the taste of victory in the Cup of the traditional Scythian regatta. After the second day of racing, superyacht crews rowed in pursuit of a 20-liter barrel of rum Mount Gay, taken home by the team Adele.
In addition to the exciting regatta, this year the spectators were entertained by the performances of local dolphins and the beautiful scenery of the hippodrome. Sports commentator Peter Montgomery, who is called "the voice of New Zealand yachting", described the situation as follows: "If this is not yet paradise, then it is somewhere in the neighborhood."
With a large number of superyachts heading to New Zealand for the 36th America's Cup, next year's regatta will host over 40 competitors.
