The new Grand Soleil 72 LC has already been launched and is preparing for the long-awaited premiere in Cannes. Interparus shares the first details about the yacht!
Launching Grand Soleil 72 LC
Grand Soleil 72 LC (Long Cruise) is one of the two flagships of the Grand Soleil Yachts fleet. By the way, the second flagship is the twin brother of the new version - Grand Soleil 72 Performance. Last year, both yachts were presented first as concepts and then as full-fledged projects.
Cantiere del Pardo, Nauta Design studio and Grand Soleil Yachts shipyard itself participated in the development of the Grand Soleil 72 LC yacht. It is already known that the yacht was launched in Pesaro, Italy. The shipyard is preparing the boat for the world premiere in Cannes. From 12 to 17 September, the New boat can be seen at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
One of the features of the yacht, in addition to environmental friendliness, the shipyard calls "the continuity of traditions and the application of the highest standards of the shipbuilding industry." Attention to detail is a hallmark of the shipyard and this is especially noticeable in the new flagship.
The yacht is created for owners who love the comfort, safety and serious autonomy of the boat.
Grand Soleil 72 LC Deck Design
The new flagship of the shipyard has an interesting feature - panoramic glazing of the wheelhouse with a viewing angle of 270°. The same glass is on the Performance version, but on the LC version it is slightly smaller.
The shipyard also changed the layout of the cockpit. Now the cockpit has C-shaped and straight seats. There are two steering wheels here. Compared to the same Performance, the entire cockpit is slightly raised. Now the cockpit offers a much better view and dining with a sea view is now much more pleasant.
The interior of the new yacht
The interior design was developed by the design studio Nauta Design. The studio managed to create the perfect combination of the external geometry of the deck and its internal content.
The entire available volume of Nauta Design was used wisely. The interior is done in multiple palettes, which creates a feeling of fresh yet elegant interior appearance. However, there are several layout options for the choice of the owner.
Inside the salon there is an L-shaped sofa with a dining table. On the starboard side of the saloon there is a U-shaped sofa, and next to it is a chart table. I would like more specifics, but we will find out more details after the premiere of the boat.
