First look: new Dufour 44

Dufour Yachts continues to delight us with new products - this time the shipyard presented a 14-meter sailing boat Dufour 44. Interparus shares the first details about the yacht!

Dufour 44 – comfort for the masses!

The Dufour Yachts shipyard is famous for its versatile yachts. Whether you are an active sailor or an avid cruiser, Dufour yachts have a wide range of applications. But with the new Dufour 44, the shipyard has gone even further.

Dufour 44 was designed in collaboration with Felci Yachts Design and yacht designer Luca Ardizio. The result is a cozy and comfortable boat, which, among other things, has serious performance.

The deck is designed in the traditional Dufour style - there is plenty of free space and the most necessary equipment is always at hand. A German system is installed on the boom, and 6 winches are installed in the cockpit to control the sails. The cockpit traditionally has two helms, as well as a fairly large table for outdoor dining.

One of the interesting features is a folding swim platform with direct access from both sides. When the platform is closed, the ladder is covered by a lifting bench. This is a new feature for Dufour yachts.

Interior spaces of Dufour 44

The interior spaces, as on other Dufour yachts, are spacious and bright. The salon is quite wide and comfortable. Features of the cabin include a hexagonal table and movable seats. Thanks to them, according to the shipyard, up to 10 people can gather at one table!

The yacht's master cabin is located in the bow. The large and spacious cabin offers a king-size bed, private bathroom, plenty of storage (full pantry) and plenty of natural light.

The yacht is available in four versions with two galley layouts. The owner can choose from 3 or 4 cabin versions with four layouts. As for the galley, the shipyard decided to offer two layout options. First: longitudinal galley on the starboard side. Large work surface with lockers for storing kitchen utensils and food.

Second option: a compact galley closer to the bow. This layout is a smart alternative to a large galley for those boaters who need additional sleeping space on board. Also in the 4-cabin version there is a full storage room available, which is located near the aft cabins.
