Boot Dusseldorf 2023 continues to amaze! Just the other day, the shipyard Dufour Yachts presented its new brainchild - the Dufour 41.
Dufour 41 - French classics with Italian delights
Last year, Dufour Yachts resolutely continued to develop its new ideas. One of the highlights of last year was the sailing yacht Dufour 37. Taking this opportunity, Dufour Yachts did not miss the opportunity to present its new boat Dufour 41 at the main yachting event of the year - Boot Dusseldorf 2023.

The new sailing yacht Dufour 41 will be 12.75 meters long and 4.30 meters wide. This boat will certainly become a worthy successor to the Dufour 390 and 412 models. Most likely, some of the developments from the Dufour 37 will migrate to the new model.
The yacht, according to the tradition of the shipyard, will still be spacious inside, easy to manage and will have good driving performance. In total, three versions will be available - Adventure, Ocean and Performance.
Felci Yacht Design was responsible for the exterior of the boat, Ardizio Design for the interiors, and Dufour Yachts remained the main engine and heart of the project. The boat must be the perfect new model to meet the new and growing demands of the market.
The official premiere of the boat is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2023. But now we have a lot of interesting details in our hands!
Who is the Dufour 41 for?
Like past models of the shipyard, the new yacht is unlikely to be highly specialized. Dufour 41 will be the perfect solution for people with a wide variety of tastes and boating requirements. But still, driving performance and impressive interior space remain a priority for the shipyard.

Smooth lines, good aerodynamics, recognizable hull outlines - all this literally screams that the yacht will feel confident in a wide variety of weather conditions.
Deck
Comfort, as always, comes first. The deck and cockpit are spacious enough, there are two steering wheels for easy control. Sufficiently wide side grooves should also make it easier to move around the deck. The design of the Dufour 41 can be said to be classic for a shipyard. Despite this, it looks quite ergonomic. The cockpit also has a comfortable sofa and a folding table. The transom can be turned into a bathing platform with a flick of the wrist.

Running rigging will vary slightly from version to version. While it is difficult to talk about different versions, but the presented 3D renders show that there are four winches - two in front of the steering wheels and two above the entrance to the salon. Interestingly, part of the rigging is hidden under the frame of the cabin. Visually, this greatly unloads the deck. Plus, it will help protect some of the rigging from the damaging effects of salt water.
The whole body has nice and smooth lines. Large hatches on the sides fit well with the overall style of the boat.
Interior
Dufour 41 will have as many as four layout options below deck. The most important difference between them is the number of cabins and latrines. In any of the options, you will have two classic aft cabins, a spacious central salon with a “living room” and a galley, as well as storage and / or technical rooms.

In the bow there is already room for imagination. Here you can choose between one large cabin with a bathroom or two separate cabins, but the location of the toilets and bathroom will change (see drawings below).
Complete set
Not without reason, the Dufour 41 will have as many as three variations. Let's analyze each of them based on the information we have. So, if you are a charter enthusiast and your ideal boat should be simple, comfortable and reliable, then the Dufour 41 Adventure is your option. As the shipyard says: “The Adventure variant will offer more ‘warmth’ and comfort, making every experience easier with the latest technological advances.”

If you are a fan of more “classic” yachting with a time-tested sailing plan, then the Ocean version will suit you. It will have room for both a genoa and a staysail, as well as the ability to mount an asymmetric spinnaker.
Well, for dessert - extreme sports lovers will not leave deprived either. The Performance version will offer what is popularly called "sailing". There is no exact data on what exactly will be in this configuration, but we can assume that at least there will be differences in the mast and sail control system.
