A new crazy project from the Japanese is a real floating city called Dogen City. Interparus will tell you about all the features of the project!
Developments and plans of the company N-Ark
Just last June, the Japanese company N-Ark presented plans to create a new ambitious project. This time, the gloomy Japanese genius has spawned an entire floating city.

The new project was named Dogen City. The floating city is not much different from the usual land-based city we are used to. There will be tourist infrastructure, medical centers and even a launch pad ... for rockets!

Thanks to the company's developments, the new floating city will be able to survive any rise in sea levels or climate change. In addition, Dogen City will be equipped with all the necessary equipment to ensure a comfortable and safe life. It is planned to settle in such a floating city about 40,000 people.
Specifications Dogen City
The diameter of the city will be 4 kilometers. About 10,000 people, as well as 30,000 tourists, will be able to permanently reside on board at any time of the year. The round shape was chosen for a reason - according to Japanese scientists, this shape will help to better withstand any weather conditions and even tsunamis!

At this stage, three separate “blocks” of the city are known. The first - the so-called. "inhabited ring". As the name implies, this is where the permanent residential area will be. The second “quarter” will be the underwater part of the city, where critical infrastructure facilities will be located. The last zone will be an artificial bay formed by the outer circular part of the floating city.
The plans also include the construction of food production facilities, schools, sports grounds, parks, stadiums, hotels and offices.
What are the challenges facing N-Ark
The Japanese company openly says that the project is more than serious and difficult to implement. N-Ark has already estimated that the consumption of fresh water will be about 2 million liters per year and the removal of 3288 tons of garbage. During the same period (1 year), about 7,000 tons of food and 22,265,000 kW of electricity will be produced.

Absolutely nothing is known about the location or the budget of the project. The only thing that is known is the estimated timeframe for implementation. N-Ark is going to build Dogen City by 2030.
Another interesting point is that according to rumors, the floating city should even have a small marina where you can place your boat or park. A true yachtsman's dream!
