Concepts are designed to surprise. Cube Houseboat is a prime example of this. Interparus shares the first details about the new product!
Innovative design by Jacopo Leoni
Jacopo Leoni is an Italian designer, founder of the Leoni Design Workshop. Jacopo opened his studio in 2020. Just recently, the gloomy Italian genius presented the world with his new creation. And it was able to surprise many yacht design connoisseurs!
Apparently, Jacopo has a good feel for the market and trends. Therefore, the new project was a rethinking of the classic houseboat. Considering the growing popularity of this direction, the choice of a houseboat as the basis for a future project seems more than successful.
The creators of the Cube Houseboat concept were inspired by the works of another famous architect Le Corbusier and the ideas of Art Nouveau. The length of the creation of the Italian studio should be about 18 meters.
Key Features of Cube Houseboat
By and large, Cube Houseboat is a cross between a classic houseboat and a full-fledged house on the water. The houseboat industry is more focused on rentals and short-term stays on board. The creators of the Cube Houseboat assume that you will spend most of your time on it.
The houseboat is equipped with a full-fledged swimming pool, a jacuzzi and several full-fledged lounge areas. All living spaces are neatly arranged on all three accessible decks. On the upper deck there is a master cabin with a private Jacuzzi and bathroom. There is also a helmsman's post, as well as a swimming pool.
The main deck is a place of social interaction between guests. Here you will find a large covered flybridge with a sofa and comfortable seating, sun loungers and a full bar.
Technologies and unique design
The houseboat's engine is diesel. Two propellers will be used to propel the structure. Leoni Design Workshop did not provide specific details about the houseboat's cruising or top speed, but assured that the owner will "enjoy a smooth and enjoyable journey."
The houseboat's hull appears to have two floats, making it structurally closer to a catamaran than a regular houseboat. The upper cubic “superstructure” will be made of aluminum (support) and reinforced red glass.
New video on Interparus channel
Hello friends! Today for you is the fluffiest video release from Interparus - Sasha Goron managed to interview a young inexperienced cabin boy Yoshi (Shiba Inu) about how he generally likes the owners’ idea of taking him on a boat and sailing. ⛵ Since most of you are unlikely to own a dog, Sasha told in his own words all of Yoshi’s thoughts, and also gave a lot of useful information about the life of a dog on yachts. Enjoy watching!
