Bavaria C46 is a new yacht from the shipyard Baltic Yachts. All about the new product, as well as its interesting features in the preview review from Interparus!
Second generation Bavaria C-Line
The German shipyard Bavaria Yachts has recently announced the second generation in the line of its cruising yachts. The line is called Bavaria C-Line and is designed for yachtsmen who prefer measured cruises in the company of friends and family.

Naval architect and designer Maurizio Cossutti was responsible for the new Bavaria C46 model. Interestingly, this is already his sixth project in cooperation with the shipyard. Bavaria C46 is the first model in the updated line and is a kind of flagship. The new sailing yacht continues the C38 and C42 range.
Like other shipyard models, the new boat will have several layout options, which will be selected by the owner at the time of purchase. The yacht had already completed closed sea trials and passed a series of tests for journalists and news publications. The official premiere took place at Boot Dusseldorf 2023.
Features Bavaria C46
The new yacht will have several interesting features. So, the nose will have a so-called. V-shape, which has become the hallmark of the latest yachts of the shipyard. Thanks to this shape of the nose, it was possible to create more internal space. In addition, the V-shaped bow improves the performance of the boat by reducing the surface of the yacht.

Speaking of space, unlike the “big sister” C45, C46 will have an order of magnitude more internal volume. Bavaria Yachts offers several accommodation options. So, the owner can choose a layout with three, four or five cabins. The cabins have full bathrooms. Instead of a fifth cabin, an optional technical compartment is available. It can accommodate a dishwasher, washing machine, etc.
There is also no compartment (garage) for the tender on board. Thanks to this, it became possible to add an additional cabin to the aft. But if the owner wants to have dinghys on board, he will have to pay extra for retractable davits.

Also, as an option, you can buy solar panels with a power of 350 W, which will be installed on the bimini. Another novelty for the shipyard will be lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, which were not previously installed even as options.
