Meet Air Yacht! This is an insane concept of a flying superyacht (or catamaran) that literally floats above the water. Is this a boat? Airplane? Or is it an airship? Or a catamaran? Well, friends, the new futuristic concept from Lazzarini is all in one.
What kind of miracle Yudo is this Air Yacht?
Let's start from afar. Lazzarini is a studio that regularly releases unusual and sometimes extreme concepts to the public.
Air Yacht is going to become such a project! One look at the renders is enough to say, “Wow! This boat-airplane seems to have descended from the pages of a fantasy book!”. And here you can not even argue.
According to Lazzarini, this will be a boat that can fly like an airship. Let's take a closer look at this interesting concept.
A little more details
The yacht is going to be made of carbon fiber. Standard choice, nothing out of the ordinary. It is stated that the length of the boat will be 262 feet, and on the sides there will be two more hulls with helium 492 feet long. These hulls are affectionately called “airships” by the creators.
It is thanks to these “airships” that the yacht will soar into the sky. The cylinders will use compressed helium technology. Thanks to a sophisticated battery system, the "flight" will last up to 48 hours at a cruising speed of 60 knots.
What is a yacht without conventional engines? Yes, Air Yacht will also be able to move on water. The boat is equipped with eight electric motors. They are powered by solar panels and storage batteries. This installation allows the yacht to move through the water at a speed of 5 knots without noise and pollution.
What's inside Air Yacht?
The main building includes a large dining room and living room. There is also a master cabin with a bathroom and a panoramic view. To top it off, there is a helipad and swimming pool on the roof of the building.
The two airships can be accessed via four separate bridges. Each of them offers five cabins with large windows. Don't miss the views!
What's on a charter? Lazzarini informs that this yacht is not intended for "tourist purposes". It will be created for a private owner who wants both a yacht and an airship in one bottle.
In the meantime, Lazzarini is looking for contractors who will bring this crazy (in a good way) concept to life!
